Krian Media has signed Randeep Hooda for a film titled Yeh Laal Rang to be directed by Syed Ahmad Afzal, who earlier directed Youngistaan. The film will deal with the topical issue of blood theft and blood mafia prevalent both in Indian small town and metro alike, which has never been explored in Hindi cinema before.
“Yeh Lal Rang is a social thriller set in a small town of Haryana. While the back drop of the film deals upon a very serious social issue, the black humour will convey the message in a lighter vein. Randeep loved the story when he heard it” adds director Syed Ahmad Afzal.
