Interestingly, Katrina will be paired for the first time with Sidharth Malhotra in Nitya Mehra’s film.
Confirming the project and casting Farhan Akhtar says, “We’ve cast Katrina and Sidharth in Nitya Mehra’s film. Both the actors have very unusual roles in the film. It’s important to try out new pairs and permutations, as these work to make audiences curious about a film.”
Farhan, however, won’t be playing a role in Nitya’s film.
“She is extremely talented, and I’d love to work with her at some point of time. But right now my hands are full,” says Farhan.
