She sure knows her way around an engine. Meet Miss July: Sophie Saint.
Sophie Saint specializes in classic car restoration out of her Topanga, California shop, Sophie Saint Motors. We first found her documenting her journey restoring a vintage Ferrari, complete with overalls and safety goggles. For her Playmate shoot, she is wearing…decidedly less clothing. But the Corvette she’s posing with? It’s all hers.
“Women have natural instincts that translate beautifully into restoration. We’re patient, detail-oriented, nurturing, creative. We build homes, raise children, garden, and bring things to life. We create life. Restoration requires that same care and intuition, just applied to a machine. For me, it always seemed obvious. Of course, a woman should do this. We even have smaller hands—it helps.”
