Anvil are the 80s heavy metal band that didnt make it. While their touring partners Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi and Scorpion all sold millions of records and humped loads of girls year after year after year, Anvil stayed at home to drive lorries and get shafted on the payment for the tiny gigs they played.
Then Anvil! The Story of Anvil came out in February 2009 and everyone felt sorry for them all over again. But not us. We used it as an opportunity to love them all over again. Come on Anvil, show us how to rock.
