In March 2013, Velda Lauder, Master Corsetiere, passed away suddenly. She was one of the greats of the corsetry world, most widely known, perhaps, for her ‘Dita’ corset. I recently rediscovered this video I filmed in January 2012 at the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris. This was one of Velda Lauder’s last collections, and though it’s only a small sample of her work, I hope it helps to convey just a little bit of the breadth and depth of her talent.
