1940's Vintage Lingerie Fashion Show

Made circa 1941, this film focuses on vintage slips. Most of the slips of this era were made of rayon, a cellulose based fiber, as silk was being used in the war. Prior to this period, slips were commonly made of silk, cotton, or tricot. After this era, slips were primarily made of nylon. This is an interesting look back for the vintage fashion fan or lingerie enthusiast at how slips were marketed and sold.
